Julie Schindall is the National Elections Editor at Public Interactive. Prior to working for PI, she was at PBS affiliate Thirteen/WNET in New York, and also worked for Senator Edward M. Kennedy during the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Julie lived and studied in Geneva, Switzerland for two years and worked as a writer, editor, and translator for international organizations and Swiss television, and as a freelance journalist.
When she’s not chatting with news directors about local politics (she can’t believe she gets paid to do this stuff!), Julie enjoys yoga, playing piano and percussion, spending time with her family, and speaking French.
